Pick Up/Drop Off in Baltimore???

We are going to have a family member drop us off at the port and then pick us up upon our return. My question is, what does that family member need to do to get through security to get to the port to pick us up? When we are being dropped off, obviously we will be with them with paperwork in hand. But for the pick up, do they just need a picture ID, or do they need proof they are picking up some one from the cruise? Also is there a designated for private parties to pick up disembarking passengers?

When asked you say passenger pick up vs drop off or cruising. They direct you to the correct side/line.

And at the end of the cruise, driver should just say "picking up" at the entrance, and he will be directed to the pickup area. No need for ID or documents.
