rumpelstiltskin Posted February 4, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 4, 2016 Hello, We are not citizens of the UK/EU. How long may we expect to go through immigration at the Mayflower Terminal? Three years ago, upon disembarkation, we did not see a single Immigration Control officer at all. We just walked out of the terminal. I'm sure this is not the case nowadays? Thejuggler Posted February 4, 2016 #2 Share Posted February 4, 2016 Assuming you will have entered the UK via an airport/port before your trip you should already have been through immigration and had your passport/visa checked. Mayflower check in is just to ensure the person who turns up is the person on the booking.
rumpelstiltskin Posted February 4, 2016 Author #3 Share Posted February 4, 2016 OK, I need to provide a bit more info. We are embarking & disembarking at Mayflower Southampton. The countries visited outside of the UK are all EU countries. The 2013 cruise that I mentioned was a TA from the USA. We disembarked at the Mayflower Southampton & no Immigration officers were present. However, I just remembered something: The last port of call before disembarkation was Falmouth, Cornwall. Could it be possible that was the reason? Even so, no immigration control procedure was performed there, either. On this pending cruise, St. Peters Port will be the last PoC before disembarkation. Rare Keith1010 Posted February 4, 2016 #4 Share Posted February 4, 2016 The process is very quick. I would say just a few minutes. Keith
