Labadee water slide

Is the water slide an all day thing or is it just a onetime ride? Description is vague in cruise planner-it says at your leisure, but that could mean they don't give you a specific time to ride. Thanks.

We did the slide the first month it was offered a couple years back.

You walk up nice concrete block stairs (decorative)

At the top, there is a little shower thingie before you sit on the slide

There is an attendant up there to space out the riders, so no one hits you from behind.

You attempt to go down the slide.

Now, why do I say attempt, well the water is painfully minimal yea more than a trickle but not like disney slides. and the ride is not made to go any pace more than slow.

In fact I stopped in the middle not by my own doing, and waited for the water to build up behind me to continue going.

HMMMMMMMMMMMMM I thought it was me.

Now the same thing happened to my DH and DD.

We said ok, were doing something wrong.

So we cllimb stairs and DD stubs her toe, so we descend and start looking for a band aid.

We go to the life guard station at Nellies to get a bandaid.

We climb the stairs take the shower, get on the slide and halfway down.......stop. wait for water to build up behind you and go.

You cannot see anything as you come down the sides are at a safety level high, and you stop in a tub thingie.

Yup you can ride it as many times as you want, because few do it.

I hope they have the water pressure fixed since we did it a couple years ago.

Save your money.

Safe travels.

Wow. I guess we'll wait and buy them the day of, after we see people go down first. I don't want my kid to get scared. He's skinny and only 9.

Must be bad engineering lol. Thanks for your review. :)
