2 Princess ships in Pago Pago today 23 April

Emerald and Sea Princess are both docked in Pago Pago, American Samoa today.It will be a busy day for the small Island Nation.

M/S Emerald Princess 3,080 passengers

M/S Sea Princess 1,998 passengers

2 Ships 5,078 passengers

from the bridge cams they are docked stern to stern. Emerald looking into the town and Sea to the Harbour entrance.

Thanks David, visited there in 2008, when they still had the fish cannery??

 

The smell went all through the aircon on the ship, but what a beautiful harbour to sail into, surrounded by green mountains, just beautiful.

Yes..I well remember the cannery. You could smell it before you saw it...:D:D

Its heyday was In the Matson years when Pago Pago was a major port.....but that was still a bit before my time.:eek:
