Desert Cruisers Posted October 26, 2013 #2 Share Posted October 26, 2013 How did you get from Narita airport to Yokohama for a pre-cruise stay? We're flying in 3 days before our cruise. Not sure we can get a transfer with Princess. We spent 30 days on the Sun Princess during this summer's inaugural Japan season. You can take either the Narita Express train or the Airport Limousine Bus to Yokohama. The train goes to Yokohama Station and the Bus goes to the Yokohama City Air Terminal (YCAT) which is part of the Yokohama Station train/shopping complex. For more info, you can go to the Narita Airport website. We took the Narita Express into Tokyo-Shinjuku and the Limousine Bus from Yokohama to Narita. Both are good. whitecloudorillia Posted April 25, 2014 #3 Share Posted April 25, 2014 Hi We will be arriving at Narita Airport 2 hrs too late to take advantage of Celebrity cruiseline's transfer service to the Yokohama cruise port. We are a group of 6. Suggestions for best option to get to the ship are greatly appreciated. Louise

Mr Jester Posted May 6, 2014 #5 Share Posted May 6, 2014 We used Charter Bus & Limousine Japan ( http://www.charterbus-limousine.com/) for our transfer from Yokohama port to our hotel in Shinjuku, Tokyo recently. There were eight of us with luggage and they supplied a 16 seater bus so that we had plenty of room and they have many different sized vehicles. They also arranged for an all day tour around the city with an English speaking guide before dropping us at the hotel for a very reasonable price. The bus and guide were waiting as requested when we docked and the bus was near new. They were very prompt in replying to emails and you had to pay in advance. When I rang them from Japan they easily switched to English which was a relief. We would have used them for our transfer from the hotel to Narita Airport but we left it too late to book them. I would definitely recommend them. Cheers.
Luvaz Posted November 1, 2014 #6 Share Posted November 1, 2014 (edited) We picked up our luggage, cleared immigration walked out of the area- directly facing us was the airport limousine bus kiosk. We charged 2 tickets ($68 for both) and walked outside the nearest door. Since we were staying at the New Otani, we got off the bus at the Royal Park and walked to our hotel from there. It was very easy and convenient. Edited November 1, 2014 by Luvaz
