After making his donations, my friend finally got some casino rates on a cruise that we booked for this year and next. 35% off isn't too bad. :D He didn't get any notification of such though, lucky we saw that when checking prices...

It's good on MOST cruises until January 16, 2006 I hear from OPC

We booked two cruises with this rate. Do they contact you with such promotion? We wouldn't have discovered this had we not keep checking prices for the cruises we were interested in going. Do they give you casino money with these promotions? As you can see, we are "new" in this casino promotion world. :D

Only VIP cruises have casino cash, the non-vip cruises only have discount. Call the OPC to see if you are included.

depending level of play, depend what discount you get

some cruisers have it listed in the "DEALS" section of your cruise personlizer.

I received this offer as an email. I was very surprised as I do not spend more than 50.00 in casino on a 7 day cruise. Same for another member of my family who received it. It came in quite handy on our booked cruises.

What I wonder is if you can continue to use it as I do not see an expiration date. I also wonder what guidelines if any they use to give it to someone. Overall in the last 10 years of cruising I am sure I did not pass 500.00 in the casino's, my family member even less, yet we received it. Just saying it seems strange but I am very grateful anyway!

I just booked a b2b for the sip and sail promotion. When my TA called me with prices it turned out that I had casino fare rates. I had no idea. Yes, I gamble but not a lot.....and usually walk away a winner. They said the discount was better than the rate of the beverage package. Again, I had no notification of said discount.

Same here - we just booked a 15 day to Hawaii. Got a great deal on a balcony cabin and our TA said it was a casino rate. Couldn't get the Sip 'n' Sail with the lower rate, but we're not big drinkers anyway, so I'm much happier with the lower price.
