sd136742 Posted August 25, 2014 #1 Share Posted August 25, 2014 Hi All We're going on our first cruise in a couple of weeks. We booked a week on the Disney Magic cruise ship in the med via Virgin Holiday Cruises. Part of the package included to from Gatwick/Barcelona on EasyJet. Was surprised Virgin use EJ, but not a problem. Quick query. Do we need to pay the charges checking luggage into the hold? I would of assumed it was part of the "packaged holiday" we purchased but can't find anything in the documentation received from Virgin or from googling. All I can see is what's on the EJ website, which is that passengers have to pay a charge for each bag checked in. Any advice greatly appreciated. We'll check with Virgin tomorrow, but it's too late to call them now and my wife is fretting, so any info would be great. Thanks in advance. 1025cruise Posted August 25, 2014 #2 Share Posted August 25, 2014 As it appears Virgin is a travel agent, we are not allowed to discuss it on this board. I would assume that you would be responsible for all airline baggage charges.

Dayenu Posted August 25, 2014 #4 Share Posted August 25, 2014 If you fly only EasyJet (no switching from one airline to another) you pay the luggage fees, unless you call your travel agent and ask if s/he can give you a free check-in. Some agencies may pay for you.
