Snorkeling for 8 kids

Hi all, our family (18 of us, including 8 kids aged 6-16) are booked for July 2017 sailing on RC departing Galveston. Our three ports: Cozumel, Grand Cayman, Falmouth Jamaica.

QUESTION:

We want to do a beach day - NOT via an excursion - rather something cheap, where the kids can either play on the beach OR jump in the ocean with snorkels and actually see some fish.

Which Grand Cayman beach would best lend itself to this option?

Preferably within walking distance of docks.

Thanks!

The majority of beach space in GC is 7 Mile beach..it's less than 6 miles long (despite the name!)...and it's very clear. Not that much to see...I mean, it's not the Great Barrier Reef, or anything like that...but it's free and there are chair/umbrella rentals...lots of good stuff for a beach day! The SEagrape beach has food/drink, watersport rentals and bathrooms! The bus stop is on the road! So easy!
