Walk to Cruise Terminals from Harbor House?

Just booked Harbor House Hotel Galveston pre-cruise, I was wondering if it's possible (or if anyone has done it), to walk to the cruise ship terminals to avoid the traffic jams? It doesn't look very far, but will have to walk past the Carnival terminal to get to Royal Caribbean's terminal.

Thanks in advance!

Yes, we do it all the time and we are in our 60's. Just follow the sidewalk. But, probably depends on how much luggage you have - we each will have a large 29" 4 wheeled bag and 1, 20" 4 wheeled carry on. DH will strap his duffle leather carry-on on top of one of the large bags and off we go.

Yes it is possible .

Its no more than a long walk in airports.

The only issues are # of bags and lugging them.

If you don 't mind that for sure.

Another approach is:

If you have car, use to drop bags off

And return to Harbor house hotel parking,

And then walk back from hotel.

Entry from east where HH is,

in relation to terminal is easy .

From Hotel you can drive to terminal

without getting on street Harborside.

Also You do not have any traffic from east

approach if your on Harborside to entrance at 22nd to terminals.

It's all on Harborside west of 22nd.

In fact you would not have to even get on Harborside,

Until leaving terminal after drop off.

Stay in right lane or go to strand st back to hotel at 21st,

to avoid

Left hand turn at 22nd from west Harborside .

Excuse my typing I'm on cell.

With auto edit and capitalizing everything.
