Can you order from room service once the ship leaves port. I thought I read that somewhere before and you don't have to pay tax. I just want a bar vodka & don't care what brand.

Yes you can order from room service... if they say NAY.. then go to guest services ...;)

I just orderd my bottle of 7 this week.;)

I could be wrong, but i just called my order in yesterday, the prices they charged me were the same as this list from above.

i just ordered a bottle of crown for my room and it was $55.00, not to bad. the good part is it will be in the room when we get there. i think the prices have been the same for a while. like someone said in an ealier post, just call the bon voyage dept and they will help you with what ever you need. they seemed to be very helpful !

i think you are correct . my mistake, sorry ! oh well it will be in my room later. thanks for reminding me ! it is still a great deal to order a bottle or two and have it sent to your room !

Prices should be the same... or at least they are the same, as on this list, for the bottle of Absolut Cirtron that I ordered yesterday for our cruise on the Spirit in two weeks.

Another tip for Bon Voyage: That list is not all inclusive. I asked for 2 things not listed, Kahlua and Vermouth, and they had both. So If you don't see your preference listed call them anyway, they may have it.

Yes, if you ask for it, they will email you a receipt

they do not automatically email you a receipt, but if you ask them to at the time when you order they will email you a conformation number and a receipt. hope this helps.

Thanks to all that posted.....my order goes in this week.....the Malibu is a little pricey......I might see if they have the Cruz rum they let you taste during the cruise.....I know they have a coconut flavor- have to keep wifey happy :)

Yes, it is very nice to walk in your room and see a few bottles on the counter wrapped in celophane with a nice thank you card!!!! For me its worth the price and a lot less headache than trying the whole smuggling thing...(the $10-15 savings is not worth my time).

On the Miracle in January we asked at Guest Services if we could order a bottle of vodka for the room & we were told no. They said it could only from Bon Voyage dept. & must be a few days prior to sailing. Maybe different ships have different rules regarding that?

I just ordered Jack Daniels and the price with tax was $58, not $65. :)

Just placed my order now as well, Canadian Club was still $38.00, bought a chocolate delight too so the total was 50.50 with tax $53.53.
