Private drivers for St. Martin?

St. Martin / St. Maarten is very easy to drive on your own. Rental cars are readily available at the pier, and will be less expensive than hiring a private driver for the day. You can tour the entire island in under 2 hours if you do not stop to take in the sights.

We've stayed on the island six times since 2009. We don't tour much but when we need to take off, get to the airport we use Louis Richardson and/or his wife Daisy. They are personable, knowledgeable. They have never let us down.

Besides taking Tour 1 and 2 many times with Bernards Tour, we have also used him as a private driver.

Do the taxis provide tours as well?

Yes taxis will provide tours, the more people you have the less $ it will cost you.
