starsanai Posted April 30, 2014 #1 Share Posted April 30, 2014 Hi, We are a large family (27 members) on a family reunion on Star. We've never sailed on NCL before and as its freestyle, we are not sure how the dining arrangement works? as we'd like to sit together at one table for dinner, can one reserve a fixed table/place at one of the main dining rooms every dinner? If so, how do I go about it? Thanks in advance
Cubechick Posted May 1, 2014 #2 Share Posted May 1, 2014 (edited) I don't think you'll find one table to accommodate such a large group. We travelled with 14 on the BA and always sat at two tables. That said, speak to the Maître D at the larger main dining room about a set dining time. Edited May 1, 2014 by Cubechick
jdvmd Posted May 1, 2014 #3 Share Posted May 1, 2014 (edited) Contact group services once onboard. You will probably have to split up into a few tables but you should be able to be in the same section. Also, you will have to eat very late or very early. jdvmd Posted August 6, 2014 #6 Share Posted August 6, 2014 A group of 27 or 45 will not be sitting together at one table. You may be able to make arrangements to be seated at numerous tables but you will have to eat very early or very late. Contact Group Services. khaide612 Posted August 6, 2014 #7 Share Posted August 6, 2014 We had a group of 25 on the Gem in May. We had dinner the first night in a side area of the aft main dining room which one of the people travelling in a suite asked the concierge to arrange. (Cut out the middle man & go to group services or the maitre'd.) We only ate together the first night though seeing as some people wanted to try different venues and the whole point of freestyle is that you don't have to show up to dinner at Table XX at X:00pm. :D
