2 Nighter

There has always been a formal night on mini cruises we have been on, even if they are only for two nights. You could ring Fred and ask though - unless anyone else knows another way of finding out.

If there is a formal, they are unlikely to tell you ahead of the cruise which night it will be, so check the details of the cruise which will be in your cabin on arrival, as it may be held on the first night. It was on the two nighter we were on a couple of years ago.

I have jusr received our cruise ticket for a cruise starting on the 2nd Dec by email and it states the number of formal nights at the top RHS of the ticket, so you should get official notice on your ticket.

Just back from our 2 nighter 10th - 12th December across the Irish Sea. The predicted weather bomb failed to materialise and the crossing was only a little bit choppy, not gale force conditions!

What were people wearing in the evenings if there was no formal night? Do men have to wear jackets / ties?
