flyingcomet Posted January 10, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 10, 2013 Hi all Greetings from Australia! I've just joined the forum and am totally new to cruising. Have yet to go on a cruise but am hoping to change that this year. I really want to go on the RSVP Alaska cruise in July. My friend who was due to come along can't make it so I am now flying solo. As a single cruiser do you guys have any hints or pearls of wisdom you can share? I will need to find a cabin mate to share the cost - how would I go about doing that? Any advice greatly appreciated. Help me lose my cruise cherry! thanks
AttilaTheFun Posted January 10, 2013 #2 Share Posted January 10, 2013 You should try posting this in the main forum here: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=162 You've posted in the roll call section, which is for people who have already booked a cruise and looking for others on the same sailing. EastSideGuy Posted January 14, 2013 #5 Share Posted January 14, 2013 A couple of other thoughts... - I thought RSVP had guaranteed shares, but could be wrong on this - Try posting in the thread for that specific cruise - you get people who read them before booking, so you may find a roommate that way Your thread subject title and initial comment are brilliant - hope you find a roommate with an equally good sense of humor. Cheers!
Boytjie Posted January 14, 2013 #6 Share Posted January 14, 2013 FYI Accoring to CC guidelines you cannot look for cabin shares here. Just saying.
