lorijeannj Posted October 9, 2011 #1 Share Posted October 9, 2011 Can anyone tell me if there is a big difference between these two cabin types on the Valor? Especially the size of the balcony.. I have been on the Inspiration in a Grande Suite and was wondering if the Ocean Suite on Valor is similar in size. Don't want to spend more on Grand Suite if Ocean Suite will suffice... Thanks! firefly333 Posted October 9, 2011 #2 Share Posted October 9, 2011 Grand SuiteTwin beds that convert to king, large private balcony, sitting area with 2-armchairs... and coffee table, desk, double sofa bed, dressing area with vanity, walk-in closet, safe, refrigerator, mini bar, private bath with whirlpool tub and shower, phone, television, hair dryer. Avg sq ft cabin: 345 Balcony: 85 Ocean Suite Twin beds that convert to king, large balcony, sitting area with armchair and coffee... table, sofa, dressing area with vanity, 2 large closets, wall safe, refrigerator, mini bar, private bath with whirlpool tub and shower, phone, television, hair dryer. Cabins 9205 and 9206 have standard size balconies. Cabin 7228 is a modified handicap cabin and 450 square feet with 110 square foot balcony. Avg sq ft cabin: 275 Balcony: 65 from cruisedeckplans. I would say there is quite a bit of difference in size to jump to the grand suite. the other you have to be carefull not to get those two cabins mentioned, dont want a small balcony, etc.
lorijeannj Posted October 10, 2011 Author #3 Share Posted October 10, 2011 I have seen pictures of both Ocean and grand Suite, and theredoesn't seem to be a big difference, except in balcony sizeand of course price. I am going to stay in Ocean Suite for now and think about upgrading later on. Numbers don't lie and 20ft is a lot more balcony.
