Peggy's Cove - please heed the warning signs

Tragically, a tourist was swept into the sea and died last week at Peggy's Cove. There are signs posted that clearly state the danger and tell people to stay off the black rocks (the rocks which frequently get wet). Even a seemingly calm sea will have rogue waves that catch people unawares as they try to get closer for that great photo opportunity. And once swept into the ocean, the undertow and cold are usually fatal.

We love tourists in Nova Scotia - please obey the signs at Peggy's Cove - we don't want any more deaths!
