I am not sure where to put this post but we are stopping on Golfito Costa Rica as part of an Azamara Panama Canal cruise, I figured that I would post it here.

We will be spending one day in Golfito. Azamara does not seem to have any good excursions in Golfito and I also hate to take ship tours. I have not been able to find anything interesting to do on internet searches. Any idea of how to spend a day in Golfito would be appreciated.

I see the dilemma... to even find Costa Rica on CC you had to look in the Caribbean:D! Don't have any real advice since Golfito is further away form a lot of the other attractions of the other stops in Costa Rica like volcanoes, San Jose etc. Guess whatever you do it wind up around nature and sightseeing. Good luck!

when are you going Don

I too am going on Azamara JAN 3

I have found a tour guide that has tailored a tour for us that includes snorkeling, dolphin and whale watching and than when night falls doing a bioluminesce swim.

The price is $420 for the boat and can fit 7 ppl.
