EU2 Posted September 3, 2014 #27 Share Posted September 3, 2014 I would second Seafresh on Wilton. Also, for a chain, the Ask Italian is quite good and a good value... literally right outside of Victoria Station. Also close is Cyprus Mangal for some very interesting Turkish food if you want to try something a bit different.
Bob++ Posted September 4, 2014 #28 Share Posted September 4, 2014 Just bear in mind that when looking at prices, you don't need to add 20% for the tip. 10% is enough, and only then if you feel you got good service.
SteveH2508 Posted September 4, 2014 #29 Share Posted September 4, 2014 Just bear in mind that when looking at prices, you don't need to add 20% for the tip. 10% is enough, and only then if you feel you got good service. A lot of restaurants nowadays add 12.5% service charge to the bill in lieu of tips - it must state that on the pricelist/menu. In that case we might just leave a bit of shrapnel as a tip. PNW Traveler Posted September 4, 2014 #30 Share Posted September 4, 2014 Try the Phoenix - an upscale pub near Buckingham Palace - 14 Palace Street. Trip Advisor has reviews and photos. The food was very good and reasonably priced. You'll enjoy the whimsical pub décor. The Phoenix was recommended by our hotel concierge and was a great choice.
