Online Check In ?

Our cruise to Alaska is in August. I have already completed my online check in. Do I need to print documents as well?

You will need to print your boarding pass and luggage tags at least. The website should tell you when those will be available. I cruise in August and my passes will be available mid-June

What cruise line?

I would be asking this on the board for the cruise line involved, as it varies. For example, on HAL, you don't have to do either- printing boarding pass or bag tags. In fact you don't have to do on line check in. It will slow you down at the pier, but you don't have to do any of those.

I did the HAL check-in several weeks ago after final payment. Then a couple days ago got the notice that documents were ready to print so printed one full set and just the boarding pass for my wife. One part of the check-in required our passport numbers which I think they need (like) to have several days in advance for notifying Canadian Border Services. Might speed up the boarding process a little depending on how NCL handles it.
