HelloMoo Posted February 15, 2013 #1 Share Posted February 15, 2013 We're taking our (then) 8 month old baby on his first cruise this spring and it being our first cruise with a baby, I'm starting to fuss about details. My TA told me to bring along all the baby food I need, which is fine for his evening porridge or mid day fruit snack, but he eats proper dinner with us back at home. He really hates those bland glasses of mashed up stuff they pass as baby dinner here, so I make all his dinners myself and there's no way I will get through customs with home made food (and it would spoil as well). Can we order something off the menu for him at dinner? (It's probably a daft question, I know, but as an infant, he doesn't pay the full fare, so I'm just worried that food isn't included for him). B_Mc Posted February 15, 2013 #2 Share Posted February 15, 2013 Yes, you can order anything off the menu for him. He'll have a spot at the table, as well. He is paying the same fare as any third person in a stateroom, young or old!
cb at sea Posted February 15, 2013 #3 Share Posted February 15, 2013 There are plenty of "mashable" foods...potatoes, applesauce, bananas, oatmeal, etc.....you can order off either the adult of kids menu for anyone! And, you can have more than 1 order of anything!
Waterloomarc Posted February 15, 2013 #4 Share Posted February 15, 2013 And conversely I've ordered off the kids menu ;) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
HelloMoo Posted February 16, 2013 Author #5 Share Posted February 16, 2013 Thanks for your replies! Phew! That will make things a bit easier for us. :D I'm still a bit worried about whether we're actually completely mental to go cruising with a baby or not, but I'm sure we'll have great time.
