susan8231 Posted June 9, 2013 #1 Share Posted June 9, 2013 :)Is room service available on either of these ships? When we cruise we like to have breakfast in our cabin. Thanks!
quelah Posted June 12, 2013 #2 Share Posted June 12, 2013 No, there's no room service. You get up early for a buffet breakfast and then you are off the ship for your first adventure of the day, sometimes before sunrise. A Lindblad trip is nothing like a big ship cruise. Shawnino Posted June 15, 2013 #3 Share Posted June 15, 2013 Quelah's got it right. I did twist my knee one day and they graciously brought a plate to my room. We were on Islander. Breakfast and lunch was buffet every day (one day, you're in town for lunch). Dinner was buffet half the time, and plated half the time. Food quality ranged from exceptionally good (local cuisine) to poor (attempts at N. American/European food). A Lindblad trip, however, is never about the food. It's about being immersed in a wild, wonderful place. Food is a necessity to gain energy for the next unbelievable experience.
