GamblingMommy Posted August 19, 2016 #1 Share Posted August 19, 2016 Can bus and ferry tokens and books of tickets be purchased in St. George's? I have heard they don't sell them at the dockyard anymore. If we pay in coins to go to St Georges, I'm hoping we can buy tokens/tickets once there so I don't have to carry a few rolls of quarters with me. SailBadtheSinner Posted August 19, 2016 #2 Share Posted August 19, 2016 What you heard is old news, and is no longer true. Tokens and 1 & 2 day Transportation Passes are sold at the Visitor Information Centers at the Dockyard. There are 3 VIC's located at the Dockyard. Tokens and Transportation Passes are sold at the VIC, King's Square, St George. A booklet of 15 tickets is sold in Hamilton at the ferry terminal on Front St, and the St George post office on Water St. SBtS
njhorseman Posted August 19, 2016 #3 Share Posted August 19, 2016 In fact it was never true. It was a proposal made before the start of this cruise season that was changed before it was ever implemented, probably largely due to the stink raised here and on TripAdvisor.
