Transportation in Bermuda

We rely solely on the public bus and ferry system. It's probably at least 20 years since we've taken a taxi.

Of course the exact answer depends on where you're traveling from and to.

If you want a guided tour, you might want to consider hiring a "blue flag" taxi driver...they're certified guides. If you do some reading on this board you'll find recommendations.

If you feel comfortable-- we did the scooter.

The first day we did the buses and ferry, but hated waiting around.. so we rented a scooter. Elbow Beach scooter rental were awesome!!!!

This was the most fun we have ever had! WE both squeezed onto 1 scooter, lol.. My dh has a motorcycle, so we are used to it....

When we go back to Bermuda, we are renting the scooter for the full 3 days we are there.. it was such a perk being able to park right in front of our ship.. so in essence, we had our own hop on hop off tour :D

Bermuda is my favourite stop so far.... its clean, safe and very friendly!
