Best beach for 4 year old?

What is the best beach to take my 4 year old daughter to? We're stopping for the day in St. Maarten on a cruise next month. We'd like to go to one of the lesser populated beaches. I looked at Le Galion but pictures gave me the impression the water was dirty. My daughter doesn't know how to swim so calm waters would be a plus! Thanks!!:):p

Check out Mullet Bay Beach for calm clear water. After beach time walk over to Maho Beach to watch the planes from one of the two beach bars. :)

We were just at Le Gallion a couple weeks ago with our 3 & 4 year olds and the water is far from dirty. Beautiful beach, calm water, and platforms to play on made it a perfect day. We brought a small cooler and stopped at a local grocery store and bought food, drinks, and ice. Also brought our our own blow ups for kids to play with. One of the best days we've had!
