Iberostar Day Pass

Just booked a last minute Carnival Fantasy for April 18th and wanted to see if anyone has ever visited the Iberostar in Cozumel? Just my husband and myself so looking to get away from the cruise ship crowds. I love the All Inclusive private resorts. I've done Occidental Day Pass before, so thought the Iberostar might be another place to explore. Thank you in advance for your feedback.

Wanted to share my experience on the Iberostar Day Pass. We booked 2 passes on resortforaday dot com for $63 each. My husband and I disembarked at 11:10A and it took about 10 minute to walk down the pier, through the international building, and down to the taxi's. We grabbed a taxi and it cost $20 for the both of us and we arrived at 11:35A.M. Resort is in a gated secured area so we had to show our printed Day Pass at the security to get into the resort and then was dropped off at the front door. Check in was quick and easy. There is a gift shop right in the lobby, wifi in the lobby. When we walked out the doors to go to the pool and beach area I was so happy to see all the Flamingos, Iguanas, and Peacocks as I walked to the beach. Beautiful! I will say it is bit of a walk from the front entrance to the beach. But the Beach is very beautiful. Towels were provided, and it is All inclusive so there was buffet style lunch being served in the restaurant beside the beach. They also had 2 pool areas, children area, and activities planned through out the day. We enjoyed relaxing on the clean beach, wasn't crowded, but not solitary either. We asked the front desk to call us a taxi and picked up a couple of souveniers in the gift ship while we waited for the taxi. It was a great way to spend the day away from the cruise ship crowds. I would do this excursion again, and would recommend to others.

Better or worse than Occidental - food, drinks, pools, children's play area and pool?
