Buenos Aires airport transfer to port by Celebrity's shuttle

I was a little hesitant booking the shuttle from Celebrity cruise line to the port from EZE as there was no specific time. However it was the best decision we could have made.

Our luggage was taken from us as soon as we met the shuttle staff and we never saw it again until it was safely delivered to our state room. We waited for other passengers inside the airport for about 30 minutes which allowed us to freshen up and purchase a drink after our overnight flight.

We then had a bus ride in an air conditioned very comfortable coach to the port (approx 45 mins to 1 hour) where we were then escorted off the coach and straight into the terminal to the front of the line past hundreds of people that seemed to be unsure of what line they were in or what to do.

We were on the first port shuttle bus to the ship. We were the last couple to get on this bus which meant we were the first couple off the bus and onto the ship.

If we had got a taxi we would have been among the hundreds of other passengers that were lining up in the terminal with no direction and very little evident assistance from port staff/cruise line employees.

Thanks for sharing. If you don't mind sharing, what time did your plane land and what was the cost of the shuttle? We will be doing this in March. Most of the flights get in quite early. I was wondering how long we might wait for the first shuttle.

Thanks,

Cynthia

We arrived at 6.30am but it took a while to get through immigration and baggage claim. As we came through the terminal there were staff waiting with signs up who directed us where to go to meet the shuttle. Not sure what time it was by then but the first shuttle loaded about 9am and left about 9.30. Its about 45 mins to an hour drive. The cost was $28.00 each.

Thanks so much for information. I'm about to make our flight reservations. I'll be sure to add in the shuttle.
