Reopening is Delayed for the Harbor House

I just got a call from the Galvez about our January 10th reservation at the Harbor House. The Harbor House is not going to reopen in time for our stay.:( The new projected opening date is January 15th.

We were offered a comparable room at the Galvez for the Harbor House rate (we had a good one), which we accepted. Parking will be an additional $14, and they will shuttle us to and from the pier.

The Hotel Galvez is charging for parking now?

We just got our reservation for Harbor House changed to Hotel Galvez for the 10th,also.We will be able to stay there when we come back from the cruise for one extra night. Hotel Galvez looks very nice also. Won't be long now! More snow today,it's like a blizzard out there it's blowing so much. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all.

We have our reservations for February 14th at the HH, hope it is ready by then:) the Hotel Galvez looks nice too, though......

They told me they are opening on Jan. 15, So you should be OK.

cruising to paradise - Did I understand you to say you are staying a night post cruise at the Harbor House? We are thinking of doing the same but probably won't definitely decide until cruise time. Disembarkation would be so much nicer knowing we have another day and evening to enjoy.

I booked at the galvez months ago and my room is waiting now. i am glad i booked ot and i picked it ofr the pool area which should be up and running in April when I am there.

Yes, we did this last year when we cruised from San Juan. It's almost like having 2 extra days if you don't leave until Monday afternoon. There are always so many things to see and do.
