Brandon's beach?

Anyone been to Brandon's Beach lately? how much was the cab fare pp? or did you take a local bus?

I heard it was a close beach.... did anyone walk there?

How much were chairs and umbrellas?

Brandon's Beach is quite close to the port and you can easily walk there in 5-10 minutes (depending on your mobility). Last time I checked (which was not that recent:)) I don't believe chairs/umbrellas were available for rent.

It is a popular beach with the locals but there is not much there in the way of amenities.:(

I too would like to know why. We have an excursion booked in the pm and wanted somthing close to do for a couple of hours in the morning, liked the idea of somewhere we could walk.
