Driver in London

We are thinking about hiring a driver to and from the airport (Heathrow) and also to Southampton and back to London. Going to Southampton and back to London we will be a party of 4. Does anyone have any info? Price?

There is plenty of choice and prices from Woodfords Chauffers at the top end to local operators from Southampton area with saloon cars at the botton.

With 4 people you also need to communicate your luggage as this will probably decide the appropiate vehicle and price for your journey.

You should not pay more than 170 GBP for either trip unless you want a really top of the range chauffer/car service.

I second the recommendation about Woodford Chauffeurs as we used them last August for transport from London to Southampton. 7 of us from CC planned together and shared the ride, stopping at Stonehenge and Salisbury on the way. Our driver was great.
