Chair lift

We heard it was $10 - but can't confirm! Sorry! You can see the chairlift from the ship if you dock at Mahagony Bay. I would think you can buy tickets right at the start of the lift. Looks like a fun beach day kind of place - although we chose to go on an island tour - I would def like to go over there and hang out for the day!!

Other than a cool view is there a big advantage in the chair lift vs walking over to the beach? Is it a long or particularly difficult walk?

It's an easy walk: Big wide wooden boardwalk with benches every so often along the way in case you get tired on the short 10/15 minute walk (depending on your walking speed).

We were taking the chair lift. Another couple with grown children were on it just in front of us. The "kids" decided they had rather walk. By the time we got there on the lift one of the "kids" was there to meet them. The others had already found beach chairs in an area with both sun and shade. Nice family. They even saved two for us in case we wanted to sit with them.

We could easily walk ... just like taking the lift because we find it relaxing. :)
