tx121 Posted September 4, 2013 #1 Share Posted September 4, 2013 Hey all, So now that we are able to book the entertainments online, I am confused because we are going on the October 13th cruise and that is the first cruise going out for the Florida/Bahamas itinerary. There most likely will be new daily planners that differ from the Bermuda season. I dont want to miss other entertainment because I have a "booked show" on that night. Does any one have any advice? Booking and reserving shows doesn't feel freestyle to me...this is also what I didn't like about doing on the Allure of the seas trip, even when I did have the daily planners to go by in advance. I know that there are many people on the ship and you must plan to book shows for crowd control, but I feel like this is not freestyle when I have to plan, I kind of just want to show up and see a show when I want to like two set show times, but i know its not possible since the theater is small. I think freestyle just might not work on these larger ships. =/
Cubechick Posted September 4, 2013 #2 Share Posted September 4, 2013 I think it depends on how much you want to see the shows. If they're not a big deal to you, you can always try to get standby seats. It's a matter of deciding what's important to you.
tx121 Posted September 4, 2013 Author #3 Share Posted September 4, 2013 Yeh I guess I will book the shows I really want to see like Rock of Ages! I guess the others I can do just standby....hopefully there is space.
Cubechick Posted September 4, 2013 #4 Share Posted September 4, 2013 Sounds like people have had success with standby. Hope it works out for you! BTW, we loved Rock of Ages!
OceanBlue123 Posted September 4, 2013 #5 Share Posted September 4, 2013 I suggest you take your best guess at days and times and book all the free shows. There is no penalty if you do not show up to a free show.
martinchem Posted September 4, 2013 #6 Share Posted September 4, 2013 We pre-booked ours and will work our dinner and evenings around them.
NYGirl1002 Posted September 4, 2013 #7 Share Posted September 4, 2013 They don't usually put another show on at the same time.
