Not sure about the ship (I have never taken an Alaskan cruise), but I know it is okay to bring solid food on the airplane, just NO liquids.
Here are some other restaurants and their websites, I have only eaten at a few of the restaurants that I have listed:
French cuisine 86 Pine Street
as I said he has various around downtown Seattle
Steak, very pricey 2505 First Avenue
Seafood/Steak 2234 First Avenue
is across Elliott Bay on Alki, you can catch a water taxi over there, it leaves from Pier 55 and you can get some fabulous pictures of the Seattle skyline.
Not sure what type of food??216 Union Street
Italian 1001 Third Avenue
On Fifth Avenue 2124 5th Avenue, around the corner from the Hotel Andra is a great donut shop.
I would also check with the concierge at your hotel to see what recommendations can be made.
One other thing, many of the downtown street in Seattle are hilly, so make sure to wear comfortable walking shoes.
We also have a great bus system which you can access from the water taxi website. Free ride area in downtown Seattle during certain hours.
Let me know if you have any other questions, I have lived in the Seattle area my whole life and work very close to the Hotel Andra.
I know you will have a wonderful time in Seattle and the weather will hopefully stay nice and sunny.
