I have a question about an excursion in Juno Alaska! It's the Whale excursion and glacier! Does anyone know if it's possible to book this with a person confined to a wheel chair? Thanks for any help!

Yes, it is. We used Orca Enterprises in Juneau for our tour. They sent a lift equipped van to pick us up from our ship. Depending on the tides you may have a steep up or down ramp to their ship. There was plenty of strong help to push/slow the scooter/wheelchair. I highly enjoyed this tour and saw probably 25 to 30 humpbacks as well as otters and eagles.

The shuttle buses that run out to Mendenhall glacier in JUNEAU can also provide wheelchair transport. Make reservations ahead of time on-line for the best service to be sure your bus will have a lift (We use the Blue Bus, which is Mighty Great Trips, $16 round trip). The path out to the waterfall here can be done with most chairs, and the visitors' center is fully accessible (this is part of a National Forest).
