checking up on security of new TA

I may have to book a cruise through a new TA who is holding a cabin I would like as it is from his group booking and unavailable elsewhere.

How do I check on this company's business background - financial and customer service please?

I would ask for references and then speak with them.

You could also try to google them and note the name of their agency and customer reviews to see if anything pops up.
