Any plans for a casino to be built in Bermuda?

When we visited a couple of years back, I recall a tour guide telling us that a casino and resort were in the works to be built out in the vicinity of Horseshoe Beach.Are there plans to do something like this?

Yes, they have been legalized. No, none are approved or under construction as of today. It's going to take a few years.

Cruise ship casinos are now permitted to be open starting at 9 pm., provided the cruise lines obtains the required license. Most of the ships doing regular weekly runs to Bermuda, including the NCL Dawn and Breakaway and Celebrity Summit have the license and their casinos are open at night.
