Have found that Norma Quintilla, Samuel Redwine and Jorgen Boettiger are guest lecturers on our April/May cruise on the Quest from Singapore to Athens. There are no details on their background or the subjects they will be talking about that I can find. Wouldn't it be useful if Azamara put out a potted bio about them? I have looked up these names on Google but unsure if I am looking at the right person.

Here's some information on your guest lecturers:

Samuel Radwine, Jewish Clergy

Cantor Samuel B. Radwine is a native of Taylorville, Illinois and received his Bachelors in Music Education from the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign in 1974. After teaching instrumental music in Illinois, Cantor Radwine entered New York’s Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, School of Sacred Music, where he was invested as a Cantor in 1981. He has served Congregation Ner Tamid of South Bay, Rancho Palos Verdes, since 1986, previously serving congregations in Fair Lawn, New Jersey, and Danbury, Connecticut. He is also Visiting Lecturer in Liturgical Music at Hebrew Union College in Los Angeles, and the Academy for Jewish Religion/CA.

Norma Quintilla, Watercolor Artist

Norma Quintilla majored in Commercial Art in college with an emphasis on acrylic and oil painting. Although she had successful showings of her work, and sold several paintings, once married, Norma put her brushes aside to focus on family. However, she never stopped growing as an artist focusing on gardening and jewelry design. Once an empty nester, Norma returned to her painting and to school; to expand her knowledge of watercolor in particular. Norma enjoys painting images that have left an impression on her while traveling. She continues to study watercolor, always pushing herself to improve her technique and composition.

Jorgen Boettiger, Bridge Instructor

Jorgen was born in Denmark and emigrated to Australia in his 20s. He then bought and ran a franchise in the central coast with the Income Tax Professionals for 25 years. In 2002, Jorgen and his partner, Anne, moved to Avoca Beach. He ran a small accounting practice and became passionate about the game of bridge. In 2003, he became a club director and in 2009, an instructor. Jorgen prepared his own lessons and has a teaching manual with lessons for beginners, developing, and advanced players. He obtained accreditation as a director with the American Contract Bridge League (ACBL) in 2012.

Thanks Bonnie. Very Interesting. Perhaps this info.should/could be included on the Azamara website for all future cruise passengers to access. Would you forward this request on?
