A picnic lunch for beach hike?

We will be sailing on the Dawn to Bermuda. We are planning to begin at Warwick Long Bay and take our time hiking to Horseshoe Bay. We'd like to grab some sandwiches once we are off the ship and on our way to the beach since we can't take food off the ship. Any suggestions on where to find something to eat to pack in our backpacks (even at a grocery store) for our day of beaching and hiking?

So, you can't take any food item off the ship? What about a bottle of water or a granola bar or something? We are cruising the Dawn in October with our 5 and 8 year old....they like to snack almost hourly!

Bottles of water and packaged snacks like granola bars are fine. You can't take fresh food...sandwiches, fruit, etc. off the ship. That prohibition is virtually universal, not just in Bermuda
