Saver price and transfer charges?

I was after a geographic or freephone number to contact P&O to book my last cruise. The one I'd previously used to go via Carnival no longer worked.

I've just tried the 0800 number you've given above but unfortunately I get the "number not recognised" message.

0800 0523840 works perfectly for me, and is answered "P&O Cruises".

I have just tried the 0843 number and was kept on hold over 6 mins. The phone appeared to be answered twice and then the line 'dropped' but not disconnected.

So I gave up and tried the 0800 number and was connected immediately.
