Food & drinks at Las Caletas (Puerto Vallarta)

How are the food and drinks at Las Caletas?

What kind of food did they have?

We're thinking about booking this, but for our family it'll be over $400. Ouch. Sounds like it gets great reviews and would be a lot of fun, but I'd expect the food and drinks to be pretty good.

Thoughts? :)

Thanks.

Nobody goes to Las Caletas for the food & beverages. Here is the web site for the actual excursion operator: http://www.vallarta-adventures.com/tours/las-caletas-day-trip

We have been to Las Caletas, with/without guests, about ten times over the last dozen years. We have watched the location evolve from a small beach operation with no electricity to what is offers today. You go for the entire package and what it will offer your entire family.

I guess I should ask what you are looking for in your Vallarta port stop? $400 will buy a lot of varied activities in Vallarta.

I'm just asking about what kind of food and drinks they offer at Las Caletas and the quality of it. Thanks. :)

It's a decent mexican food buffet. They have an open bar.

The place itself is fantastic. I've only been there twice and wish I would have went a long time ago.
