From 2 half days at the beginning and end of a cruise to Bermuda. At Boston's Black Falcon cruise terminal take a Silver Line bus to South Station and off you go. The trains (the 'T') are easy to use if you don't fancy walking back to South Station.

We were at the Constitution at around 10.30 and the queue was small. After going aboard we stopped for coffee and a cake at Sorrelle Bakery and Cafe (1 Monument Avenue) - really great and a strong w-fi signal too if that's what you need.

We didn't know about that musket demonstration at Bunker Hill monument and just wandered up there at 11.50 to be told it was happening at noon. The man firing the gun tells the story of the battle before the demo. I don't know if this is a daily thing, but if it fits with your plans you may wish to go at midday to see it. All the best, Tony
