CDNtexascruiser Posted March 14, 2013 #1 Share Posted March 14, 2013 My husband and I are booked on AOS later this year and I was wondering how the casino functions in comparison to the casinos on the Carnival ships. On Carnival, you slide in your seapass card and then you can withdraw from your sign and sail account at no charge. At the end of the week you have to cash out your winnings from the player bank (they are not automatically deposited back to your sign and sail account). This will be my fourth cruise and my second with RC. My first was many eons ago back in 2005.... Only 247 more days to go!!!! Sarah
Daghis Posted March 14, 2013 #2 Share Posted March 14, 2013 I don't know which ship you're sailing on (Adventure of the Seas or Allure of the Seas), but in terms of cash management, the machines are all cash-only. If you want to get cash from your SeaPass account, you must do it at the cashier (for a 3% surcharge). Newer machines are TITO (Ticket-In/Ticket-Out), and they all support that on Allure, but I'm not sure about Adventure's machines. On the newer ships, you can insert your SeaPass card into the machine for the purposes of collecting points that you can trade in at the end of the cruise for token gifts or even cash back (I think that 1,000 points is $20). You earn 1 point for ever $5 gambled.
