Sunrise Hotel, San Pedro

In the past, we have stayed at the Sunrise (formally a Best Western, but no more) on the waterfront in San Pedro. They went a bit downhill and we started staying at the San Pedro Inn & Suites. Recently, we read some 'new and improved' reviews on the Sunrise and wondered if anyone has been there recently and if they have 'cleaned up' their act?

We stayed there April 2014. It wasn't bad.
