Stay at any hotel you chose and park at Machu Picchu..secure parking for your car and Angel will take you to your hotel and pick you up to take you to the port..call him and he will pick you up after you get back.

he also does tours if you are going early and spending any time in NOLA

How much does he charge? Where does your car stay?

We stayed at the Hampton Inn near the convention center. Free shuttle to the ship. We didn't have a car, so I don't know the deal with parking. We'd definately stay there again.

If you google "New Orleans Cruise Hotel Shuttle package" you can find them.

One warning, make sure it is drop off and pick up. There are many that if you stay the night before they will drop you off at the port but pick up on return is not included in the package.

I live in the New Orleans area and Machu Picchu mentioned by someone else has a very good reputation. I have not used them for port transportation though.

We used Machu Picchu a few years ago. As parking and transportation in New Orleans is so expensive and we were spending a few days there before our cruise, we were charged a flat rate for a week (less than $100). When we arrived in New Orleans, we drove directly to his lot (which is surrounded by a high security fence and your car will be sheltered and you take your keys). He took us to our hotel (even making a stop at WalMart for a few "supplies", picked us up at our hotel the day of our cruise and took us to the cruise ship and picked us up the day we returned and took us back to his lot to get our vehicle. Nice, trustworthy folks.
