Port Shooping ( need help )

Going on cruise next week , Wife fell and broke 3 bones in foot , is there port shopping where Serenade docks ? Thanking you in advance Cancelled excursions yes we have trip insurance but doctor says there is no medical reason she can't go . Wife uses knee scooter , can't walk on foot .

Ouch! Hope your DW quickly recovers. As to shopping, the locality of shops is a little dependent on which dock you use. But there is a small port shopping building (2 floors) with some shops. I do not know if this port building has an elevator. Town is very close to the port, so your wife might be able to get around with the help of her scooter and husband :). The big issue in many of these ports is that many places are not wheelchair/scooter acessible, so one has to just do the best they can do.

There is a whole shopping area right at the docks, aimed at cruise ships, not for people staying in resorts. It's within 200 yards or so. Having said that, Antigua is not noted as a shopping destination. You could venture further into town but I don't see the point, there's no worthwhile shopping for cruise passengers.
