MMBG241 Posted July 1, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 1, 2017 We are taking a Disney cruise and Martinique is one port we have never been to. We love to relax on the beach but also like to shop for souviners before we get back on the ship. Any advice for where to go? Will we be able to rent chairs or umbrella for our baby? If we take a taxi will they be able to provide a car seat or do we bring our own? I've also read no one speaks English and US money is not accepted...is this true? Thanks for any advice! Feel your best option would be to rent a car from USA company (paying in USD), stipulating the all your baby requirements, and collect the vehicle from their own people in Martinique. Then you can select our own beach (all have bed rentals Etc), plus you have the options of what to do, when to do it and what time back to the ship. Driving will not prove a problem, as Martinique (French) also drive on the wrong side of the road, the same as in the USA ;-)
