Best Deck On the Magic

Trying to decide between which floor to book for my cruise on the Magic. Deck 7 or 8. Any insight would help. Thanks in advance.

Forget 7 and 8 -- go for a cabin on Lido. You'll be close to all the action and far enough up not to be bothered by other noise. We've been in 10270 twice now and loved it on both cruises.

As evidenced by the fact that people book cabins on every deck, there is no "best deck". Cabin and deck choice are based on personal preference which are affected by a multitude of factors.

I think I was on deck 6 or 7 of the Magic two summers ago. I don't really remember. But the cruise was fun.

We like 7 with cabins above and below, but then we stay on our own balcony a lot, away from the action. Just our preference..Cove balcony deck 2 is great for getting on and off , but a long way from everything..

We prefer deck 12 spa cabins just to guarantee that a neighbor will not be smoking on his or her balcony and interfere with our enjoyment of our balcony. Had one too many cruises ruined by cigar smoking neighbors.

If booking a balcony, the best deck on the Magic is the one with the cove balconies. Deck 2?

I would stay away from deck 6 if you are booking a balcony because it has the lanai deck right underneath. Not very private and can be noisy . We were on deck 6 on the Dream and did not care for it so we are doing a cove balcony on the Magic .

We just sailed the Magic. I loved the cove balcony deck 2. We stayed in 2275. Midship right by the stairs and elevators. It wasn't loud because we were so close to the stairs, very convenient to everything, and the cove balconys are great.

Deck 2 for the cove balcony! :D

Past 2 cruises on the Magic we had Deck 2 Cove balconys..Best cabins ever!..Both cabins 2272 and 2276 do not have the lifeboats directly above them either..there are a select few of these cabins.
