Hi....booked select fare but still have a have a guaranteed cabin on our forthcoming cruise on the Azura. Once allocated is that it or can they still change the cabin and maybe downgrade you to the grade that you originally booked?

Also if you are satisfied with the allocation can you then ask for no further upgrade so that you keep the cabin you have?

I have booked a Select Fare 3 times now which have gone to Guaranteed cabins. I think it's normal practice now once the lowest category has sold out. On each occasion, I was very happy with my allocations which were in a higher category to that we had booked. However, I did get the feeling that if I hadn't been happy with the allocation, I could have contacted them and that it may have been possible to change it as it was after all a Select Fare. As to slapping on a Do Not Upgrade on the cabin once allocated - that is an interesting question. If you find out, do post on here and let us know.
