Recommendations for snorkeling spots with young kids in Nassau/Freeport?

Hi! We are cruising next month and are looking for places to snorkel from the beach in Nassau, Freeport and Half Moon Cay. We will have 4 adults, a 4 year old and a baby with us, so we can't really do any of the ship excursions. We want to try to take turns snorkelling while a couple of us watch the kids and play on the shore. We also need to be in an area with facilities that isn't waaay far to get to. Any ideas? there really is no snorkeling from the shore in nassau,, the reefs are off shore as with freeport also

however at half moon cay thesre may be a small area for snorkeling o they do have an excursion right from half moon cay which is sthe prviate island that takes you around to the other side of the island but it is from a boat.. the reefs in the bahamas are off shore
