Carnival players Club

Has anyone called Players Club for pricing on an upcoming cruise? Do they give a discounted price? I am looking at a cruise in August and comparing Carnival pricing with NCL. NCL CAS is offering me cruise at 50% off. Does Carnival Players Club do similar offers? Thanks in advance.

Good luck with that.......in my experience, the only discounts from CCL are for "premier" sailings or when they offer you a comp/reduced rate which you can view when logged in with your VIFP number. FYI, CAS wins every time I have compared offers except when I get the occasional tax/port fees offer from CCL.

True - but depending on your level of play, there is usually a zero offer out there.

Have you ever cruised with Carnival and used the casino? If so, email casino@carnival.com and ask if they have any discounts or offers available for you. Otherwise, no the players club doesn't offer discounts.

We were on the CCL Magic March 9-13 and received a casino free cruise in our mailbox outside the door with no dates listed. Has anyone ever received one of these? It's husband that gets the offers. He called Carnival agent we always use, chose a date and trip. Husband called back and oops she made a mistake and there aren't any cruises out of Galveston on dates I am out of school. I have 70 days and go Platinum on next cruise. If not I would be cruising with another company because there is always something irritating with CCL

I got an offer like that on Princess but couldn't take it.

Yes, I booked my FREE players cruise. Leaving July 25th from Galveston. Freedom. Empress Deck Window Room right under Bridge. amazing for free! Could have gone to Alaska even, but didn't want to pay for a flight. Lol. Third Cruise Never any problems. Sorry you've been disappointed. Maybe will work out next time.

I also have not had any problems. It's an AMAZING benefit. It's hard to pass up one of the letters, but I'm finding it easier. When I am ready to book again, there is usually an offer waiting.

I have read so much about the Norwegian perks, that I am cruising with them in December so I can judge for myself if their offers can rival the great ones Carnival has been offering. Not sure I am going to love the freestyle experience, but I'll find out in December!

I do love Carnival but the offers I get from NCL casinos at sea program can't be beat. Much better then Carnival. I did just get off a Carnival cruise that cost us $120 each based on Casino offer plus port charges but I have 3 booked with NCL from their program for free plus drink card plus dinner at Cagneys. Will continue to book both companies with whomever gives best deal and ship. Enjoy your NCL cruise
