Question on Summit

considering an 11 day cruise in December and wondering if there are a lot of children on Celebrity cruises. Also does anyone know if the casino has a craps table and dress code in dining areas?

Since Dec 11 is not a school holiday and the fact that it's an 11 night out of San Juan, it's highly unlikely you'll have many if any children on board. I don't recall seeing a craps table but there was one or two roulette tables. The dress code in the dining room is no shorts or swim wear at the evening seating.

There is a craps table in the Summit casino. It was very busy with a lively crowd when we sailed the Summit in July.

Most 11 day cruises do not have many children on Celebrity. But a lot will depend on your dates. Is it true your cruise is out of San Juan? Are the Puerto Rico children on school break during the dates you are sailing? If so, you could end up having many more kids than normal as Celebrity sometimes discounts heavily to the locals in Puerto Rico to fill up the ship if they aren't getting enough bookings. That happened to us on the week after Thanksgiving a few years ago. Have nothing against Puerto Ricans! But there were many large families with lots of kids. Not the usual Celebrity ambiance.
